DreamHack, the biggest esports and video games festival, will have an edition in Madrid for the first time. It will take place in IFEMA from December 10th to 13th. Four days of festival where you can enjoy the heart of the festival (the LAN Party), compete, meet your idols and try out the latest in gaming and esports.
DreamHack therefore is moving its second Spanish event from Seville to the Spanish capital from 2020 onwards, becoming the first DreamHack festival to take place in Madrid.
The festival will open its doors on December 11-13 at IFEMA. There you will be able to play the most current video games on the market, enjoy the best national and international esports tournaments, shop in the different merchandising stores and participate in raffles and competitions.
There is no DreamHack without a LAN party, so you can also experience it at DreamHack Madrid. A space where you can play and compete with more than 1,500 people during 4 days with your own PCs and consoles. It will be open from December 10th to 13th.
DreamHack Madrid will be the stage for several international esports competitions among which the last stop of the ESL Pro Tour circuit stands out, with the DreamHack Open in CS:GO which will distribute 100,000 dollars in prize money amongst 8 of the best teams in the world.
Another major competition that it will host is the last stop of the HearthStone Masters Tour, which will have a total prize of $ 250,000. With this, and although there are still many competitions to be confirmed, DreamHack Madrid 2020 will set the record for prizepool offered by an esports festival in our country.
In addition, you will also be able to enjoy musical content that we will reveal at a later date, and you will be able to find out about training and career opportunities in the educational sector.
Tickets for DreamHack Madrid will go on sale on April. Stay tuned as they will be launched with an initial promotional campaign to celebrate its arrival in the capital.
